Silicon Valley

Guess who went to Silicon Valley? Mini Van :)  A japanese friend of mine went there for a quick visit, so I asked him to bring Mini me with him. I can guess he was a little shy bringing and taking photos of her with him as you can see in the photos he gave me. But seeing these photos makes me really envious of Mini Van. My dream was, is, to work in Pixar. So going to California is a big deal for me. But at least now, I was partly there. I can't wait to be actually there. TAKE ME THERE!!!!!

Blank Page

Even a piece of paper seems so impossible to fill out when you just started. You wonder how to start and you don't even know where to begin. And when you do make progress, you keep thinking as to what is next. You are in a continuous struggle until you reach a point that you aimlessly, carelessly do something even if it doesn't seem right. But in the end, it will all make sense. And you wouldn't have known that up until you have finished it. So make a mess. Draw mistakes and so the next time you had to fill a blank paper you would have yourself a better mess than the last one.

Life's like that 😉

Travel Buddy

When I started handing out Mini Vans to my friends, I thought it would be such a burden to them to keep carrying it around and take pictures of it. I thought that it might be embarrassing to be doing that in public. I mean, taking selfies in public is embarrassing enough, how much more taking photos of an inanimate object. So I don't expect them to take so much pictures with it, but to my surprise, they seem to be enjoying the company of Mini Van. They don't even mind what people think about them and they even talk to it and care for it. And by the time they show me their photos, I am quite surprised to see a bunch of photos of Mini Van that it makes me feel as if I was really there with them too. I guess that's what Mini Van made them feel too, like I was with them, minus the talking hahaha.

I am quite happy how this actually turned out. It made me have a connection to my friends even from afar and it made me want to work harder so I, personally, could go out and see the world with them. It is my way of motivating myself. So thank you friends for bringing me partly along :)

Anyeong Korea!

I have met a lot of Korean friends because of my previous job as an ESL teacher. Though I was their teacher, I managed to make good friends to most of them. One of them who became close with me, brought Mini Van to Korea with her on her Christmas vacation. Luckily for Mini Van, she was able to take a photo in that famous spot in Busan, Korea. I guess, for most avid watchers of Korean dramas, I am sure you have seen this sight before, and I am pretty sure you would have wanted to go there too.

She tagged her along wherever she went and took pictures of this Mini me anywhere, via plane, train, bus and even put her in her bed :)

This was taken when my friend was eating her favorite food, ttoppoki,, a famous spicy snack from Korea. Unfortunately though, Mini Van doesn't have a mouth to enjoy T^T

And of course, she and another friend had to keep Van warm for the winter, so they had to make her a neck warmer and that winter cap. It made me think, people can show kindness even to an inanimate object like Mini Van. I'm just guessing that people, or my friends, have come to care for her like they would with me. Or more, maybe hahaha

A quick stop to Amsterdam

On her (my friend) back to Canada from Paris, she lost the original Mini Van picture I sent her, so she had to make a quick sketch of Mini Me so she could post this little Van in Amsterdam. I'm not quite sure where Amsterdam is, sorry. But I guess they didn't actually stay that long there, because it was just a quick stop in the Airport

New York!!!

This is not the first and definitely not the last of this little fella's adventure around the world. Mini Van spends her Xmas with her most diligent carrier or shall I say, travel bud

Times Square !!! By the time I can personally go there, imma take a Selfie in that busy street ^^

And with her carrier hehe. Now this picture is in the Brooklyn bridge.

I would have wanted her to bring mini Van to the Statue of Liberty, but unfortunately she couldn't go there. So maybe next time you guys could bring her there for me

Find You

I have so much to do that all I want to do is procrastinate and listen to music. And I am just loving this song even after almost a year has passed since it was released.

"Find You"
(feat. Matthew Koma & Miriam Bryant)

Silent love is calling faith
To shatter me through your hallways
Into echoes you can feel
And rehearse the way you heal

Make them dance
Just like you
Cause you make me move
Yeah you always make me go

I'll run away with your foot steps
I'll build a city that dreams for two
And if you lose yourself
I will find you

High on words
We almost used
We're fireworks with a wet fuse
Flying planes with paper wheels
To the same Achilles heels

Make them dance
Just like you
Cause you make me move
Yeah you always make me go

I'll run away with your foot steps
I'll build a city that dreams for two
And if you lose yourself
I will find you

(yeah you always make me go)

Open up your skies
Turn up your night
To the speed of life
Turn up your night
Put your love in lights
Turn up your night
I will find you

Make them dance
Just like you
Cause you make me move
Yeah you always make me go

(yeah you always make me go)

I'll run away with your foot steps
I'll build a city that dreams for two
And if you lose yourself
I will find you

(yeah you always make me go go go go go)
Turn up your night
(go go go go)
Turn up your night
(go go go go turn it up turn it up)
Turn up your night
I will find you

Make them dance
Just like you
Cause you make me move
Yeah you always make me go

Hello World!

Guess who got a passport??? Me!!!! I had a passport 5 years ago. I went to Singapore for an educational tour. That was so long ago. For the people who know me personally, they know I travel quite often. But locally. I have traveled most of Cebu and went to neighboring cities and islands and just recently, I went to northern part of Luzon, Ilocos. I didn't stop there. I also side tripped to Baguio for the holidays. And I wish I could go somewhere in Mindanao too. But now that I have this passport, I wonder where ill go to next. Actually, I do know where =] it's for me to know, and for you to find out. But at least now, the traveling Van, which is carried by various friends of mine to different countries, will "also" be traveling personally with the original Van.

Done for the day

It's Friday and my last day of work for the week. It is also my first week of work. From being a mobile web developer to an English teacher and now back to getting involved with the I.T world. Talk about a detour hahaha. Well, it has got me remembering those days when I started learning graphic arts and design. But at least now I could say that I have learned a lot and enjoying my way of showcasing my art through this little me.

This image, as far as I can remember, is an image I created on an old smart phone through an app that allows me to draw doodles. I'm actually quite proud that I have done this much despite the hardships I have to go through using and drawing in such small space.

Still, I have lots to learn and this little me has so much to do. So see her around.

Its all about the bass

First of all, that headphones is not the one I am using to listen to music. I have a Sony headphones which actually work quite great. It has really deep bass sounds which, according to research, makes you feel powerful. I enjoy listening to music with any genre but when I am using this headphones, I especially like to listen to powerful beats from electronic pop song, which I think has become really popular recently. To think that it doesn't really have much lyrics and basically it repeats itself over and over again. But I do admire songs from Zedd with some of the artists he collaborates with. Most of them, though short, has really meaningful lyrics, and not to mention powerful beats.

Music really has that effect on me. So thank you music, and thank you headphones ^^
