It's December first and winter is upon us. Snow doesnt fall here - never will it - but Christmas holidays are ticking fast. Its that time again when eating is non stop and diet will never ever start tomorrow. That time of the year when persistent carollers sing their famous "Jingum" Bells for a penny. That time of the year when you worry what could be LONG and HARD enough for your kris kringle activity at school/work for a price of 20 peso. Not to mention stressing over your manita's wish list for Xmas. Seriously? An iPad or an Iphone 5s or 6??? Com'n?!!? Who the hell is Lola Bunny anyway? And let's not forget our godchildrens who you have hidden from these past few years =P pa cheeseburger ka naman
We have already set our cash for spending even before our Xmas bonuses arrives. Which leaves us flat broke as the new year comes and crawling till the next payday.
Even so, our pockets may be empty and cold as snow, at least our hearts (and bellies) are full. And because of the warmth we have - most especially xmas holidays - no wonder there's no room for snow.
At least we do know some things
